We bought the Fuf 4-foot "bean" bag and liner(actually memory foam bag) to replace a bean bag that we had in our young son's bedroom. The old bean bag was the typical bean bag with small beans in it. Eventually, the beans just flattened out and there was not much support in the bean bag; we were basically sitting on the floor with it.

This Fuf memory foam bag is so much better and so comfortable! It holds its shape. When it needs to be re-fluffed, I just turn it over and kneed the foam. When fully fluffed-up, the bag is HUGE and somewhat high (from the floor) for a 2-year old (who likes to climb, jump, and roll on it). It's great for story time or taking a nap. In fact, my son and I will fall asleep in it together with enough room for us both.

We bought the liner and cover, so that we could throw the cover in the wash when needed. We have not yet done this, but I think it will be difficult (but not impossible) to get the cover back on the bag when we do. I say this because it took two adults to get the liner into the cover before it had fully expanded. This is not a pro or con - just an observation and an FYI.

The instructions say that the liner (or actual fuf if you do not get the liner/cover) does not have a pull on the zipper for SAFETY reasons. Other reviewers have complained that their zippers were broken. They are not broken. It appears that the bag was intentionally designed this way because one can suffocate in the foam. It's a safety measure. The instructions tell you how to open it if you need to do so.

Overall, we love this bean bag. We have been using it for about two months on a daily basis. It appears that it will not flatten out, even after years of use. The support for one's back/body is superior for this type of item. We love it. Just be aware that the bag is big (and heavy), so make sure you have room for it in the space you plan to use it.

The red color rubbed off onto clothes and anything that came into contact with it. But Hayneedle quickly replaced the product and the service was great. So far the new Fuf Foam chair is keeping its color to itself.

after getting the product I think I overpaid. I am overall satisfied with the product but I expected it to be more sturdy.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for a friend. I have to purchase extra foam filling or I am going to be embarrassed when they sit down in it and sink all the way to the floor. This is not at all what I expected . When you look at the pictures displayed on line, the chairs look like they are very full and quite comfortable. Unfortunately, that was not the case with the bean bag sofa I received.
