Troutman's Big Kid Rocking Chair

Children love things designed to be "just their size," and this handsome oak rocker is the perfect fit for any young "big boy" or "big girl" you know. It's handcrafted by The Troutman Chair Co. in the USA with artisans who truly care about quality.
Designed to be handed down as an heirloom, it features a traditional arched ladder back, a contoured seat and Swelled Joint Construction that uses NO GLUE or harsh chemicals. The joints actually get tighter with time, and the notched dowels make it nearly impossible to be pulled out. Item shown in Deluxe Red. See the color swatches above for additional colors. Troutman Chair Co., established in 1924, uses sturdy oak stock from local loggers as they clear land for developing subdivisions, and does not cut trees just to make furniture. The logs are brought to the on-site mills to ensure quality control, and a link to their time-honored way of doing things.

Manufacturer Care Instructions:

Yearly maintenance of your rocking chair will help keep its finish looking new. Whether outdoor or indoor, keep your rocking chair cleaned and polished with a high quality furniture polish to extend the life of the finish. Should your rocking chair get wet, please be sure to dry it as soon as possible. If used outdoors, the finish on a wood product will eventually begin to deteriorate. To restore its beauty, we recommend a light hand sanding and cleaning followed by application of a quality finish material as directed by your local paint store.
