    Bought this product for our 3 1/2 yr. old grandson for Christmas. First, we had to be creative with one of the chairs when we put it together the night before Christmas, because the holes were not bored to match the support brackets in one of the chairs. We just made the holes in one bracket a bit larger, which worked, but we keep that chair aside because we don't trust the sturdiness now. Our concerns are warranted, last night my grandson sat on one of the chairs and the front leg broke away from the wood support. The wood literally separated from the frame. He fell forward and hit his head against the edge of the table. This could have been much worse had he been standing up on the chair like 3 yr. olds like to do. He really doesn't use the set as much as we thought he would, but I would hate to see if he used it like most 3 yr. olds would.

    I'm so disappointed with the quality of this set, especially when you consider the price. This could be a dangerous item and I don't have confidence in the whole set now. Personally, a recall should be in order, especially if this isn't the first time such shoddy craftsmanship has happened.

            I am pleased with this set! I ordered and received it last week mainly for my 3.5 year old daughter to use with her kitchen set and for drawing or crafts. I do also have 2 boys, ages 6.5 and 8.5, and they haven't tried it, but I think they should be able to sit there to do puzzles or play games as well. It's not huge, but for one to two young children, it is perfect. I like that is was an easy, fuss-free process, arrived [...] with all of the pieces clearly marked, easy to assemble which I did myself without frustration, and seems like good quality so far. It's heavy, not flimsy. I got the honey color and it looks nice enough to be seen by other people, not junkie or bright. I'm very pleased!!
